Totally new to me and my last post for the day.
Ex- Bauhaus Murphy ciphers the spirit of Bowie with this mix of synth, breaks and Goth. From Allmusic ” During a break in the 1998 Bauhaus reunion tour, Murphy went into a Seattle studio with KMFDM veterans Sascha and Tim Skold, along with Wax Trax!/Swans jack-of-all-trades performer Bill Rieflin, resulting in a fine five-song effort. ”
So “Rollcall – Recall” was a very pleasing first listen, the track was originally written by founder of legendary 80’s group B-Movie, Paul Statham, and was off the album “Deep”. There is an exotic electronic cover of, “Big Love Of A Tiny Fool,” written by popular Turkish musician Mazhar Alanson. Finally, “Indigo Eyes ’98” (another track by Statham and off the album “Love Hysteria) is synth-ed up nicely and hauntingly performed by Murphy.
