Big Audio (Dynamite) – Looking For A Song (US Promo 12″)

So the last reincarnation of Big Audio Dynamite, after being Big Audio Dynamite II it was then shorten to Big Audio and then went back to Big Audio Dynamite in 1995?

This was off their only album “High Power” and the line-up was now Mick Jones on guitar and vocals, Nick Hawkins on guitar, Gary Stonadge on bass and Chris Kavanagh ( ex-Sigue Sigue Sputnik) on drums, completed with keyboard player Andre Shapps and dj Michael Custance DJ Zonka). Sample-tastic (their are literally 100’s to spot) and my favourite post of the week, an instruction song about how to write music. The “early” mix is quite rave-y with a slight bit of dub/dancehall. The main mix is more commercial with a piano lead and an almost nursery rhyme delivery. The album mix has the most samples (Sid James and Afrika Bambaataa  !) Big dub on the soundsystem on “Adventures In Space” mix!!
