Armageddon Dildos ‎– Homicidal Maniac (US 12″)

So in the UK we had Sheep On Drugs, (more later) America had Mindless Self Indulgence (amongst many others) and it appears Germany had this duo. EDM/ Industrial, this was the alternative electronica to come out of the early 90’s. Using cheap sequencers and samplers Uwe Kanka (vocals) and Dirk Krause (synthesizer) produced a more punk inspired sound, the name was a slang term for intercontinental ballistic missiles (topical at the moment) Very influenced by Nitzer Ebb, this track motors along but with an unexpected change towards the end , “Housewives In Hell!” The “Crashhead Mix” is full on guitar thrash with a bubbling synth bass, great fun! The “Electric Dildo Mix” has a good bit of metal bashing and is my preferred mix, euro-rave. All mixed by fellow band Headcrash.

Two additional tracks are on here, the old skool, retro EBM of “Stuck Inside” (sounding it was done 5 years earlier) and the classic mix of “In My Head” sung as “In My Mind” (think Ministry and RevCo being friendly with Depeche Mode)
