The Bridewell Taxis ‎– Don’t Fear The Reaper (12″)

The last single released from The Bridewell Taxis and a great cover of Blue Oyster’s “Don’t Fear The Reaper” adding their signature horn section to the classic and produced by Chris Nagle. There is the obligatory dance remix by specialist indie remix combo, What? Noise who were based at Strawberry Studios in Stockport where the single was produced.Producer Chris Nagle, Tim Harris and Julia Adamson were a band in their own right who did lots of remixes for Manchester bands at the time. Ethereal synths  and deep electronic bass are added giving it a Sci-Fi feel. The  B-side is a passionately delivered track “Face In The Crowd” battling synth/organ with the horn section.
