Consolidated Feat. The Yeastie Girls – You Suck (US 12″)

Rude stuff ahead – Apologies for the language on this.

Still stranded in the 90’s with some Mike B stuff and this homage to cunnilingus. Oops ! I know for a Thursday night as well! So this promotes equality in oral sex and promotes safe sex in quite a direct way. Written and performed by The Yeastie Girls, feminist hip hop collective of Cammie Toloui, Jane Guskin and Joyce Jimenez  From  1992 with Consolidated layer the beats and samples with a little help from Jack Dangers, his mix separates the parts out a bit more being less muddled. Quite a funky if a stompy backing if you listen to the clean, instrumental mix. It is one of those records that you listen and say to yourself , “did they just say that?”
