Glenn Frey ‎– The Heat Is On (US 12″)

I don’t want this blog turning into an obituary but with the sad news that ex Eagles guitarist, Glenn Fry passed away at the tender age of 67 yesterday I had to oblige ! (and thanks to a quick nudge from Mike B)

So this is the US 12″ from 1984 of his most well known track and an 80’s iconic tune (I think the UK 12″ is on here but the links may be dead). Produced by Harold Faltermeyer and Keith Forsey and remixed by Brian Reeves (Sparks, Moroder) , it’s nice to here some mixes of this epic track from “Beverly Hills Cop” instead of the radio version. The “Dub Version” is fun in an 80’s cheesy kinda way if a little short.
