David Bowie – I’m Afraid Of Americans (US CD Mixes)

So more obscure Bowie stuff, who needs “Let’s Dance!”

As already stated this has been a favourite for a few years. The political commentary with a collaboration with Trent Reznor ticks all the boxes. On this CD release we get 6 mixes that are all segued into each other (Mike has split them into 6 more digestible lumps) Where there are some interpretations of the track by a variety of guest artists. You get the Hip Hop rapping on V3 by Ice Cube,Drum and Bass on V5 by Photek, whilst the last track is almost Aphex Twin-like. An experimental journey with most of it remixed by David Ogilvie, one half of Industrial group Skinny Puppy.
