The first single from their last album of the 80’s, “We Too Are One” (10 years later they released “Peace”) They reunite themselves with synth to produce a kind of synth-funk. Co-written by the bands keyboard player Pat Seymour and The Gap Bands Charlie Wilson this see’s the return of the big synth bass (Heard on “Sister’s Are Doin’ It For Themselves”) Produced by Stewart and American producer, Jimmy Iovine,(co-founder of Beats By Dre) the 12″ is given an Eric “E.T.” Thorngren remix to sharpen up the funk and gospel elements and add HUGE drums. “Precious” is a quality b-side that might of made it on the album, just as funky as the A-side.
