OMD – Locomotion (7″)

When OMD were very pop! (hence the name shortening) From 1984 and with added Brass arrangement from Tony Visconti, I bet early followers where shaking their heads and muttering sell out! Produced with Brian Tench and the taster single for the album “Junk Culture.” As the aim of this blog was always to uncover an obscure track the B-side is brilliant. One of my favourite OMD tracks and a hark back to their electronic roots. “Her Body In My Soul” has jittering sequencers, passionate vocals and choral samples all at a frantic pace.
