From 1979 and the quintessential 80’s tune that wasn’t from the 80’s. Here is the extended “disco” which isn’t really extended or disco-ish. Robin Scott (R.I.P.) did a bit of a KLF and concocted the finest slice of synthpop before anyone. Nothing sounded like this at the time. Tighter and less prog than the Buggles this came with a risqué video and a novel double grooved record, one side of the 12″ had 2 tracks the 7″ version of “Pop Musik” and the more New Wave sounding “M Factor” , an excellent B-side and different lto the album version.
