Yello – Blazing Saddles (Remixes) (12″)

A bit of a resurgence on the Yello front (Still one of my favourite bands) I have now updated all links, The normal 12″ of “The Race”

And the normal 12″ of “Tied Up ”

I had a blog previously and it was quite successful, too successful as it got shut down!!! I had some other Yello 12″‘s on it so I thought I’d better share them over the next couple of posts!

From 1989, first up is their attempt at an early take on House music, Boris doing his best crooning on lead vocals. A bit tinny regards production, with sampled Depeche Mode’s “Shout” for added mischief!

  1. never seen oh yeah or rubberman song mabye im blind lol

  2. to continue the early christmas of 2015 re-up’s of the early Cabaret Voltaire links would be a treat! 🙂

  3. Just found your blog for the first time tonight and taken a few things, thanks for your great work

  4. Blazing Saddles is so poppy and unrepresentative of their core material! Yet is has to be my favourite song by them – lots of times they are too quirky for their own good, while this one is fantastic! Thanks for the post.

  5. Thanks for reposting the the last of the old links. As I write this, there are even newer Yello posts. Thanks for all of your work.
