From 1987 and rereleased track from World Music influenced duo of Simon Toulson-Clarke (vocals, guitar) and Julian Close (keyboards, programming, saxophone) They remind me of a cross between later Blancmange and Kissing The Pink. The original track was released in 1984 when they were on Cherry Red Records. This is a polished rerub on the WEA label, with the “No Reservations” mix provided by Ross Cullum and Mike Ging. A quality 80’s 12″ mix even though I’ve not a clue what its all about! They did have a unique sound, the radio samples and reverse effects on the weird “Speeches” and the remix of the album track, “Heart Of The Sun”, amps up the acoustic guitars.
NEW LINK 2018 (once again) With bonus mix of “For America” (Bazooka Joe Mix) included.
