From 1981 and a six track album, when Lovich embraced the synth, thanks to a little bit of input from a certain Thomas Dolby. The lead track was written by Dolby and compliments Lovichs quirky vocal delivery perfectly. Produced by herself and Les Chappell this has a great mix of electronic tinged New Wave. The title track satirizes consumer culture with some signature Dolby noises, there is also a slight nod to “Europa And The Pirate Twins” on the last track , “Details.” Other tracks are the instrumental track , “Cats Away” (electro Madness)The epic and haunting, “Never Never Land.” The guitar led , “Special Star” and the tribal , “Savages.”
