Paul Simon – The Boy In The Bubble (12″)

paulsi More from the Mainstream……

A debut on this blog and the wonderful mishmash of sounds that came from Paul Simon’s famous “Gracelands” album. From 1986 and on first hearing it just sounds weird, a percussionist’s dream, with the accordion and fretless bass and  stream of consciousness lyrics. It still brings a smile to my lips as I’ve not heard it for soooo long especially the 12″ version, the video is a great 80’s visual. B-side is a quieter title track of the album “Hearts And Bones” , Simon really knows how to do gentle and acoustic.

  3. Are you feeling nostalgic for the re-up of 2017? Why not commemorate that auspicious day with another re-up? Of this awesome remix. Please?

    1. That accordion though! THANK YOU!
