ABC – One Better World (12″)

 

From 1989 and some soft, melodic pop house with political lyrics and Martin Fry sporting a blonde hair doo! Not released in the States this was the lead single from the album “UP” with fellow collaborator Mark White. All female backing vocals and choirs it has a feel good factor but with some quite biting lyrics, although it is as soft as Mr. Fry’s hair.

Blaze (Josh Milan, Kevin Hedge) provides additional production and remix, the “Garage Mix” removes Fry’s vocals and is a lot tougher sounding. The “Percapella Mix” is as it says on the tin, vocals and percussion mixed by Mark Stent
