a-ha – The Blood That Moves The Body (12″)

a-hasocksOnwards to 1988 now and a forgotten gem of a track by a-ha. Off their “Stay On These Roads” album this has orchestral backing and reminds ,in places, of YES’s “Owner Of A Lonely Heart.” This compares favourably to their own track,  “The Living Daylights.”

More of a full version rather than an extended mix it was favourite live track by the band. B-side comprises of the LP Version and another Pål Waaktaar penned ballad, “There’s never a forever thing” which is my personal favourite, showcasing the amazing range of Mr. Harket.

*THANK YOU FOR OVER 700 HITS TODAY- SEEMS FRANCE HAS BEEN VERY BUSY*
