Spandau Ballet – I’ll Fly For You (12″)

Shoulder pads adjusted and suit sleeves rolled up the Ballet boys are back in town !

With a minor hit single from their fourth album, Parade. This 1984 track reminds me of the coffee table chic of Sade. It’s smooth and soulful and certainly is one of my favourites by them.

The “Glide Mix” sounds a bit like Frankie Goes To Hollywoods “Welcome To The PleasureDome” with just as huge production values.

A live version of “To Cut Along Story……” has a bizarre synth solo but I’m not sure about the female backing vocals. Funkier nevertheless and out Tony can’t half hold a tune. Witness it here!!

NEW LINK !!!!!!!!!!! 2018 !!!!
